Department of Radiology, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is organizing IBIBAM 2016 in association with Tata Memorial Centre, and Europian Network for LIGHt ion Hadron Therapy (ENLIGHT) between November 12~13, 2016.
The workshop is addressed to scientists interested in the effects of heavy ions in biological systems. An improved
understanding of the mechanisms involved is of highest priority for interplanetary manned missions as well as for
the application of heavy ions in cancer therapy. The workshop will include invited talks, plenary talks, and poster sessions with moderated discussion on various topics.
